Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Lola. I've recently inherited some jewelry. I was very lost when trying to figure out the origin of this brooch. The brooch is crafted in silver over gold and comprised of old cut diamonds. The marks are a little indistinct even under strong magnification. On “C” clasp there are few stamps or marks, which I do not recognize. Those looks like “A” with dot below, another “A” and ...(?).On needle there are also few marks. But I’ve no idea. on the first Picture i can see a Foxheadhallmark from Austria. They used it between 1.4.1872 to 1.5.1922.

The hallmark means it is 580 Gold.
The A in this hallmark means it is from Vienna.

Lola hat ein Foto der Brosche von vorne mir per pn geschickt mit der Bitte um nicht Veröffentlichung.

Es ist eine typische Brosche die z.B. Hofdamen trugen mit dem Monogramm in Altschliffdiamanten ausgefasst, Ihrer Fürstin oder Königin, damit man sie zuordnen konnte.

Meine Frau hat dann die Geschichte recherchiert und ein knappes Dutzend Texte und Bilder der Fragestellerin über meinen account geschickt.

Seitdem meldet sie sich weder hier noch bei mir.
